The Kent Smith Family is the second and third generations of a gospel music family whose singing heritage spans over three decades. It began with a family group headed by Kent’s father, singer/songwriter Fred Smith, in the late sixties.
Today, building their sound around tight
family harmony, and their ministry upon a sincere dedication to encourage
the church and reach the lost with the message of Christ, the Kent Smith
Family has developed an anointed music ministry. They base their work from their hometown of Hazel Green, Alabama, twenty-five miles north of Huntsville, Alabama. From there, with the encouragement of their home church, the Kent Smith Family strives to do the Lord’s work as doors of opportunity are opened to them. It is the desire of this Christian family to be called according to His purpose, filled with His Spirit, and used of God until He calls them home to be with Him. |
